Product Description
PASS QUEST 107BCD Narrow-Wide Chainring for SRAM Rival AXS
The PASS QUEST 107BCD Narrow-Wide Chainring is designed for compatible SRAM Rival 107BCD 4-bolt cranksets, offering a lightweight and rigid 1x drivetrain upgrade for road, racing and custom bike builds.
CNC-machined from high-strength 7075-T651 aluminum alloy, the chainring features an extended narrow-wide tooth profile for improved chain retention and stable drivetrain performance.
Three chainring styles are available:
Round Full-Profile · Oval Full-Profile · Skeletonized Round
Depending on the selected version, sizes are available from 36T to 58T.
Compatible with standard 10 / 11 / 12-speed chains and SRAM AXS 12-speed chains.
Designed for SRAM Rival 107BCD
Designed for compatible:
SRAM Rival 107BCD 4-Bolt Cranksets
The mounting interface is specifically shaped for the compatible Rival crank spider.
Important
Please confirm that your crank uses the 107BCD 4-bolt interface before ordering.
107BCD refers to the Bolt Circle Diameter and does not automatically guarantee compatibility with every SRAM crankset.
If you are unsure, please send us your exact crank model or a clear photo before ordering.
Three Chainring Designs
1. Round Full-Profile Chainring
The round full-profile version provides a traditional and predictable pedaling feel with a clean, integrated disc-style appearance.
The closed structure is designed to reduce unnecessary lateral airflow disturbance while providing additional structural support.
Recommended for:
- Road riding
- Racing
- Sprinting
- High-cadence riding
- Large chainring setups
- Clean aero-style builds
Available Sizes: 42T–58T
2. Oval Full-Profile Chainring
The oval version provides a different pedaling characteristic compared with a conventional round chainring.
Its non-round profile changes the effective gearing throughout the pedal stroke and is intended for riders who prefer an oval-chainring setup.
The full-profile construction combines the oval shape with a clean, integrated appearance.
Recommended for:
- Road riding
- TT-style builds
- Long-distance riding
- Riders who prefer oval chainrings
Available Sizes: 42T–58T
3. Skeletonized Round Chainring
The skeletonized version prioritizes lower weight while retaining structural support through its reinforced CNC-machined layout.
Multiple structural ribs distribute pedaling loads across the chainring while removing unnecessary material.
Recommended for:
- Lightweight builds
- Climbing setups
- Smaller chainring sizes
- Weight-conscious road bikes
Available Sizes: 36T–52T
Narrow-Wide Tooth Design
The chainring uses an extended narrow-wide tooth profile designed to improve chain retention on 1x drivetrains.
Approximate tooth dimensions:
Tooth Height: 8.5mm
Tooth Width: 3.2mm
The alternating tooth profile engages the inner and outer chain links more closely, while the extended tooth height provides deeper engagement.
This helps reduce the possibility of chain drop caused by:
- Road vibration
- High cadence
- Hard acceleration
- Sprinting
- Uneven road surfaces
7075-T651 Aluminum Construction
The chainring is CNC-machined from high-strength 7075-T651 aluminum alloy.
This material provides an excellent balance of:
- High rigidity
- Low weight
- High strength
- Wear resistance
- Impact resistance
- Long-term durability
It is well suited to performance-oriented road drivetrain components where both weight and stiffness matter.
Precision CNC Machining
The chainring is produced using precision CNC machining for consistent mounting dimensions and tooth geometry.
Machined and beveled edges provide a refined finish while removing unnecessary material.
The design focuses on balancing:
Weight · Rigidity · Chain Retention · Durability
Recessed Mounting Interface
A recessed mounting structure increases the effective contact area between the chainring and crank interface.
This helps provide:
- Accurate positioning
- Secure installation
- Improved crank-to-chainring engagement
- Reduced unwanted movement
- Clean integrated fit
Reinforced Structural Design
The lightweight versions use strategically positioned structural ribs and machined sections rather than simply removing material.
The reinforced geometry distributes pedaling loads across multiple directions, helping maintain rigidity while reducing overall weight.
Chain Compatibility
Compatible with:
10-Speed Standard Chains
11-Speed Standard Chains
12-Speed Standard Chains
SRAM AXS 12-Speed Chains
Always select the correct chainring configuration for your drivetrain.

Round vs. Oval
Choose Round if you want:
- Traditional pedaling feel
- Predictable power delivery
- High-cadence riding
- Sprint-focused setup
- Familiar gearing characteristics
Choose Oval if you want:
- Non-round chainring characteristics
- Variable effective gearing through the pedal stroke
- An alternative pedaling feel
- A TT or custom road setup
Oval chainrings feel different from conventional round chainrings and may require an adaptation period.
Full-Profile vs. Skeletonized
Full-Profile
Best suited to riders prioritizing:
Rigidity · Aero-Style Appearance · Large Chainring Sizes
At the same tooth count, the full-profile version may weigh approximately 8–15g more than the corresponding skeletonized design.
Skeletonized
Best suited to riders prioritizing:
Lower Weight · Lightweight Builds · Smaller Chainring Sizes
For full-profile versions, larger tooth counts are generally recommended for the best overall visual proportion.
